Jimi wallet holds just the essentials: five cards, a few bills, and even has a detachable money clip if you need to go super slim. Jimi wallet actually fits in your front pocket, but you can also carry it the slimmest of bags, or around your neck on a lanyard (which makes it a perfect student ID holder/wallet). And to top it all, Jimi wallet is manufactured in the US from 100% recycled materials, and 1% of its sales revenue is invested in the environment.

It's a smart urban accessory, and it's great in the great outdoors. Already a hit with the cycling and snow sport community, Jimi's water resistant shell makes it ideal for a huge swathe of outdoor activities. Appalachian Trail anyone?

Information

Accessory products are generally made with little concern for the environmental impact of the materials used, who makes 'em, or where they're manufactured. Cost is pretty much the only concern. So we decided to take a look at these elements and impose some control over them; namely use lower impact materials, avoid sweatshop labor and manufacture our products locally. And do all this while making well-designed, high quality, desirable products that are competitively priced.

I hate this wallet April 3, 2010
Reviewer: Carolyn Reyes from Madison, WI United States
I bought it on clearance thinking it would be a good back-up wallet, for my overflow of membership cards, or a spare to take to the gym. First off it feels cheap, it's not easy to open or close, and the thing that's supposed to hold the cards just falls out when I open it. It's a little odd looking, but nothing special in the design department, and doesn't function. The opposite of eco-friendly since it's useless and came in a big honking plastic package. You would be better off re-purposing an already existing plastic box, this is no better as a wallet than one of those mini-first aid kits or any other stupid little plastic case. A used mints container would be a big step up from this thing. I should have just put my extra stuff in a used envelope, for all the utilitarian & cool this thing has.
