Designer’s Profile
Karmel & Alden is the creation of Pat Ramos. With a clear understanding of every element of today’s denim business, Pat is new to the world of denim design but has over 20 years experience in the jeans world. Throughout her career she has worked alongside designers like Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, etc., identifying trends for major brands collaborating in concept meetings with clear understanding of brand image and customer. She has been directly involved in the development of sourcing bases, domestic and international fabric sourcing, product development, and development of pricing strategies. Pat has now created a premium denim line for men, women and kids made totally in the United States with a focus on fit, workmanship, luxury fabrics mainly from Japan and Italy, and high tech washes developed by one of the best industrial laundries in L.A. |
