These 1” heeled shoes feel like a flat, yet the elegant modified kitten heel creates a subtle impression of the shoe floating just above the floor. The shape of this shoe features a sophisticated squared off toe and heel.

This handmade shoe is composed of a laminated Finnish birch plywood core and a mottled red recycled rubber sole. The footbed features multi-color veneer with hand screen printed original abstract graphics in light blue, silver and red, and is sealed with a durable hand-rubbed marine finish.

These sandals come with 5 sets of two 66” long ribbons:  1/2” yellow satin, 7/8” hot pink and orange strip grosgrain, 5/8” navy grosgrain, 3/8” black fancy-stitch grosgrain, and 7/8” brown and turquoise stripe grosgrain.  

The shoes are packed with a “How to Tie” illustrated booklet, an organza travel bag, and a translucent re-useable shoe box.  All Mohop shoes are warranted for one year against any damage beyond normal wear-and-tear.

*The ribbons are premium quality, finely woven satin polypropylene. Each ribbon is 72" long -enough to wrap around your ankle. We recommend you cut the ribbons to your preferred custom length and seal the ends with Fray Check TM. (sorry, no substitutions)

Mohop shoes are composed of rubber soling made from recycled tires, a Finnish birch plywood core, and topped with various select veneers. The graphics on the footbed of the sandals are are screen-printed by hand at Chicago's legendary Screwball Press.

The most unique aspect of Mohop shoes is Annie's patent-pending 'strapping system'. The wearer can customize her shoes by changing the ribbons that tie the shoes on. Different lengths and styles of ribbons can be used to achieve a virtually infinite number of looks with just one pair of wooden bottoms.
